Welcome, humans!
Humans began breeding cats for rodent reduction and companionship in our communities thousands of years ago. Now, in our cities and suburbs, people too often abandon them. Leaving them desperate for food, clean water, and the minimum care to mitigate disease, death, and runaway population growth.
Community cats, our feline friends and neighbors for millennia, without privileges, rights or public services sufficient to meet their basic needs, become a health hazard and burden to the community.
Helping stray and community cats helps our communities. While it takes our time, effort and expense, the benefits and reward of kindness, felt by us and them alike, is far greater.
M&M (Maria & Michael) Cat Rescue will continue to give community cats we encounter our love, time and effort. Having already expended thousands of dollars, with love, we now ask for your contribution, to help us help our friends and neighbors.
